Taking time in your day for routines or rituals sounds like it would make your life more boring or bland. In reality, taking time for these simple things is what can make your life complete!

Mindful Routines & Rituals

The human body like repetition. When we learn something new, we need to practice it and the more we practice the better we become. Creating your own routines and rituals can be fun! Here are some ideas of mindful practices:

  1. Calming bedtime tea
  2. Morning yoga, running, or workout
  3. Going for a walk after work
  4. Making the bed every morning
  5. Just sipping your coffee – nothing else on your mind
  6. Listening to a favorite podcast
  7. Cleaning & organizing your workspace
  8. Journaling or creative writing

Find something you love to do and makes you feel good and do that every day!

Becoming More Mindful

Practice practice practice! Doing a few simple things every day with mindfulness will take a little getting used to. In the end, it will be worth it! Here are some tips on how to become more mindful throughout your daily life.

1. Eat Mindfully – Take time to enjoy your food & slow down

2. Read Every Day – Disconnect from the world and dive into a real book (yes, the kind made from paper)

3. Meditate – Focus on only your breath and how your body feels in that one moment
