Happy 2018!! I can’t believe that it’s already one week into the new year!! I’ve taken this week to recharge and revamp a few things after the craziness that was Blogmas.

Anyways, on to the 2018 New Year!
Intentions and goals are different, but also one of the same; just like every soul on Earth is unique but also part of the same universal energy. An intention is like the seed of a dream. It’s taking time during this present moment to focus on a realistic manifestation of your life.
To set your intention, think about what your dream like looks like and how you feel when you are living it. Manifest your intention by living as though your dream life is already happening. Bring your focus to how you feel compared to show you should be feeling to create this dream life of yours.
Don’t let yourself be critical of your intention; no dream is too big. When your intention is clear, take time to plan how you are going to make this intention a reality. Put a pen to the paper and write down step-by-step goals.
Give your whole focus to each task as you continue to live your life through the mindset that your intention is real. Live as though you are already living it, and it will happen. Manifestation is real.
The breakdown of setting successful intentions:
1. Meditate about it
2. Allow it to form with no judgment
3. Set smaller goals in order to make your intention a reality
My 2018 Intentions
I have a hard time focusing on just one of my passions which is why this blog is slowly morphing into a lifestyle blog from a food blog. My intentions are always shifting and changing as I learn and grow!
Currently, my intention is to create a special corner of the internet that people can come to learn more about becoming the best human they can be!
I’m not sure exactly how this will look, but I know how it will feel. I will be able to focus all my attention on creating this space because it will be my full-time job. I will be able to make a living off of what I love doing and support myself and my family.
The amazing part about all of this is that as you practice meditation (it’s okay if your mind wanders a LOT, mine still does) you become more in tune with the Universe. The power that is always present is so real and it feels good. It’s awesome knowing that something bigger than you has your back!
