On to the post!
On Sundays I love taking a little extra time to slow down and be fully present in each moment. Usually my mornings are quick and packed with a good workout, stretching & rushing off to work! So making sure I take this time for myself on Sunday mornings is crucial for me.
I love a good cup of coffee as much as the next! I don’t drink too much coffee during the week (unless it’s social or MUCH needed). I try to lay low on the caffeine since I already have a small dose with my pre-workout drink!
I always make sure that I drink a full glass or water before I dive into my coffee. As we sleep our bodies use up a lot of the hydration we’ve been giving it all day. Plus coffee is quite dehydrating in itself!
I have found the perfect creamer my the brand So Delicious! You can find this stuff almost everywhere now! Just look in the creamer section at Target or your grocery stores and they are bound to have it! The French Vanilla flavor is to DIE for!
On Sundays I make it a priority to make sure that I “sip mindfully.” This means that I am only focusing on the flavors and sensations of the warm drink rather than running through a list of things I need to get done for that day.
Crystals have been a part of this ritual for the past few weeks as well! I’ve just been setting them on the table or counter near me and allow myself to feel their presents. I’ve been loving learning more about the energy that crystals bring and the power they can have on your mood and overall wellness!
So far, I’ve noticed that it’s easier for me to focus on my breath or my current mantra. I can’t wait to start learning even more about the healing benefits of crystals!
