3 Things to Remember When Life Gets Real

Alright fam… it’s been a hot minute since a full post has dropped, and it’s about damn time this girl gets back on her game!

Not sure if it’s just me, but I have been feeling all sorts of crazy energy coming from somewhere in the Universe or inside of me or something! and it’s been intense to say the least. I think there is definitely something going on that us intuitive creatures are feeling on a deep level.

I’m going to open up and be really raw with you guys right now, in the following paragraphs. I also want to create a safe space where you can open up and share your thoughts / feelings / ideas about anything crazy going on in your life. So feel free to leave a comment at the end of this post and share anything you’re going through 🙂

WTF has been going on with me lately?

Wow, this is really hard to be to put into words. I want to make sure that I express my feelings in a healthy way and that I keep everything written in a positive context. Alright, here we go…

Let’s start at be beginning…

My life has been “ideal” ever since I was a child. I grew up the oldest of 3 girls and our parents were always so supportive and loving. As a grew older I developed my own outlook on life as every human does. I thought that there was one best way to live life and I pursued that life and I was happy.

I went to college to get a degree, got married to my high school sweetheart and moved into a house fairly close to my hometown. I was happy and enjoying my life.

I’m gonna go back a couple years to when I started transforming my lifestyle, became vegan, and started this blog. Ever since I went vegan I felt so amazing. I felt like I was finally doing what I am here to do. I was sharing vegan recipes and wellness tips here on the blog and getting some amazing feedback.

As I continued to grow in my blog / business, I also continued to grow in my own skin. I was discovering things about myself that I didn’t know. I discovered a dark side of myself that I was ignoring. Some people call this their shadows or demons.

Facing your shadow self is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do, if you even make it there; but the outcome is 1000% worth it. It’s been about 6 months of discovering and facing my shadow self now and I feel like I’m finding my light in the darkness.

I am making some huge shifts in my life to continue to go towards the light and move forward. I believe that if you listen to all parts of yourself and become aware of the part of you that’s holding you back, you’ll be able to grow so much faster than ever before.

3 Things to Remember When Life “Gets Real”

Whether you’re going through a huge shift in your life, or you just need to get through the next 24 hours of a family reunion that is really stressing you out; you’ll get through it. This will pass and you’ll be on your way to the next adventure!

1. Trust that the Universe Has Your Back

Personally, I like to believe in some sort of energy that connects us all. It doesn’t really matter what you believe in; it could be the Universe, God, Buddha, Devine Being, Spirit Guide, Creator, or even Your Inner-Self. Have faith that your energy source has a plan for you.

Trust that you are here for a reason. You have a gift to share with the world – even if you don’t know it yet. The universe (or whatever you call the energy that connects us all) is an energy that feels what you feel and reacts accordingly.

For example, if you think that you world is out to get you and “bad things always happen to you” then that’s exactly what will happen. On the contrary, if you have a positive outlook on life and believe that the world is working in your favor then that’s exactly how your life will go.

Basically, always try your best and believe in yourself!

2. Be Present in the Moment

Okay, this one is super important. Take time throughout your day to truly appreciate what’s in front of you. This will bring your closer to the positive energy of the Universe and your positive energy inside yourself.

Become mindful of your actions. Quit fussing over the end goal of a task and really enjoy the process of the task itself. Take time to notice the little things as you go about your day, like how beautiful the trees look or how the sun pokes through the clouds or how hearing another laugh makes you feel.

Being present in the moment will help you appreciate your life. It will separate you from your past and minimize your stress about the future. Live in the moment and you live free!

3. Love Yourself

Because you deserve it.
