On to the post!

Time to get your holiday drink on! I recently just shared a post about selecting vegan alcohol in the vegan alcohol guide – so go check that out!

In this post I want to focus more on the Holiday Nog!

Vegan Eggnog

Traditionally eggnog is a holiday favorite among most of us. You either like it or you don’t. I was never really a fan of eggnog because I thought it was weird to be drinking raw eggs and heavy cream…

This vegan holiday nog is made from coconut milk! It’s so delicious! (see what I did there?)

This post is not sponsored by So Delicious, but I love the brand and would love to be sonspored! Hi!!!

Why I choose Vegan

A vegan lifestyle more than just a diet. Veganism is a way of life which one thrives without the exploitation of animals for food, clothing, product testing or any other purpose. In today’s modern world no one human can be 100% vegan. We can only strive to be as close to that number as humanly possible.

personally started out how most do, by making small changes with my diet until finally I was “eating like a vegan” without actually becoming one. Then I realized how amazing it felt knowing that I was no longer contributing to animal slaughter and suffrage.

I changed my diet for selfish reasons as first: to make my own body healthier and stronger. But it’s become so much more than that now. I still wake up every day looking to better myself and do everything in my power to live the healthiest life I can; but I also live for others.

I live for helping all creatures of this beautiful earth to live long healthy lives.
I live for creating a planet where my great great grandchildren will thrive on
I live for helping other create the life they have always wanted.

The Recipe

SPIKED VEGAN NOG

  • 1-2 oz Irish Whiskey (Jameson is vegan)
  • 4-5 oz So Delicious Holiday Nog
  • Top with Ground Cinnamon & Cinnamon Sticks

Tip to add your own vegan whipped cream: Use a can of coconut milk (full fat) and refrigerate that for a few hours. Them open it and whip using a hand mixer. Add a little coconut sugar to taste and you’re golden!

START EATING MORE PLANTS!

If diving into that vegan lifestyle isn’t what you’re ready for yet, that’s okay! It took me 6 months to finally commit to veganism – now I can never see myself going back! Everyone’s transition is a little different; some go overnight and others take years!

Are you ready to start your transition process to a plant based-diet right now? Check out my Vegan Starter Guide: The Plant-Based Difference! Now available for instant download! Make sure you subscribe and check your email so that you can get your 5% off code! 🙂
