During the holiday season this year, and in the spirit of giving, Educating Earthlings is rolling out a huge Blogmas Giveaway focusing on wellness and vegan lifestyle!
Blogmas is an internet holiday where bloggers and YouTubers (vlogmas) create holiday content or blog daily. Most of us even host giveaways! I’ve hopped on the wagon this year and am so excited to be offering a HUGE Blogmas Giveaway Bundle for you beautiful humans! Use the button below (or click here) to enter the giveaway – good luck!
On to the post!
Happy weekend! The holiday season is in full swing and, for some of us, there are WAY too many events to attend. Some family or friend gathering can be stressful for vegans during the holidays since everything is so centered around food.
Most of the time at these gatherings, you are expected to “bring something to share.” And that’s where this post comes in! These are the best vegan meatball you can bring to a party since they are so easy to make and taste like the real deal. Save time AND impress your loved ones with tasty vegan food?! HECK YES!
The Gardein Vegan Meatball (and more ‘meats’)
Now, I could share an amazing homemade vegan meatball recipe with you today, but I’m not going to. I’m going to save you all that time in the kitchen and just tell you to go buy something from the freezer section. Yup, I said it! Packaged food…
Eating packaged food is definitely something to limit, like limit a lot. But during these holiday times when time feels like it’s running faster than ever, a little packaged vegan food isn’t going to hurt anyone – especially a defenseless animal!
Gardein is an amazing company who sets their values on the health of humans and our environment. They use sustainable packing by using recycled plastic and have continued to decrease their package size.
I believe that Gardein is a great place to start when people are looking for meat alternatives on their new path to a plant-based diet. Like I said before, this food is still processed, which means it should be limited in your regular diet. The perfect place to start and the perfect place to indulge later down your path! 🙂
Disclosure: This post is not sponsored by Gardein (yet!) I genuinely believe everyone should know about this product – especially those who love traditional meats and are looking for an alternative.
The Air Fryer
Baking these bad boys is probably the best way to go unless you have an air fryer! Using an air fryer will help make the meatballs crispy on the outside and still warm and moist on the inside.
Using their air fryer with this food: With the air fryer we use, I cook these Gardein meatballs at 400ºF for 15 minutes and they turn out perfect!
The technology behind an air fryer is quite simple! It’s basically just a mini convection oven but on steroids. It creates the perfect fried foods without any extra oil. We love using is air fryer for making potatoes, tofu, and tempeh crispy!
Here is the one we have in our house – Kalorik Dual Layer, Digital. We snagged it this year on Black Friday for a sweet deal. Make sure to do your research and see which model will best fit your needs.
START EATING MORE PLANTS!
If diving into that vegan lifestyle isn’t what you’re ready for yet, that’s okay! It took me 6 months to finally commit to veganism – now I can never see myself going back! Everyone’s transition is a little different; some go overnight and others take years!
