Maca Powder: The maca root has potent adaptogenic properties helping each body differently based on individual needs. Unique alkaloids found in maca, called Macainas, have been shown to nourish and support the endocrine system. Maca also provides an abundance of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and sterols.
Maca Powder also tastes sweet! So adding a teaspoon to any smoothie is a no brainer!
Green Refresher - Smoothie
- 2 frozen bananas (ripe & chopped)
- 1/2 Cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 Cup spinach
- 1/2 Cup kale
- 1/2 Cup celery
- 1/2 Cup cucumber
- 1/4 Cup rolled oats
- 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- 1 Tablespoon glutamine powder
- 1 Cup coconut water
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and turn it on!
